In the beginning of the 19th century, the Palczew estate with Michałów, Bończa, Rudawica, Zdroiki and Budy belonged to Count Franciszek Salezy Krasicki, and in 1816 it became the property of Count Ignacy Komorowski of Liptowa-Orawa. From 1842, Palczew belonged to Aleksander Skrebicki until Antoni Potapenko bought the estate in 1845.
In 1849, the dominions were purchased by Antonio Dal Trozzo; as legend has it, he played cards with local land owners and acquired subsequent parts of the estate in exchange for their gambling debts.
In 1855, Palczew became the property of Dal Trozzo’s son, Antoni. The estate belonged to the Dal Trozzos until 1945, when it was nationalised under the agrarian reform decree. The Palczew Palace was built to Apoloniusz Nieniewski’s architectural design and was completed around 1900.
In 2004, this rather neglected building was bought by the Dembiński family from Góry and after thorough restoration and adaptation work it has begun serving its intended role as a conference centre.
